Requirements for a Trading System for the German Natural Gas Market
On 30 September 2007, Sezan Zubari graduated in Energy Economics (Department of Economics and Business Administration) from the University of Applied Sciences at Darmstadt.
The objective of her diploma thesis was to identify the trading system requirements of a wholesaler active in the gas market and to translate them into an outline concept.
The crucial criterion identified in the diploma thesis is the modifiability and adaptability of the trading system to constantly changing rules and structures as the German natural gas market is still in the development phase.
A gas trader working in the European natural gas market needs a trading system that is designed in such a way that it can be adjusted to the market changes with a minimum of efforts at any time.
