The DeltaXE software
DeltaXE is our standard software for applied time series management.
Our customers use this solution in their everyday work at the trading desk, in managing and billing contracts and in energy distribution. Given its modular structure, the software is ideally suited for implementing customized solutions.
DeltaXE software modules
The product’s open architecture allows to link it to or integrate it with diverse business applications using time series of any kind, i.e. applications from EDM, settlement, trading, risk management, optimization and forecasting.
The DeltaXE architecture has five technical layers and is based on a classic 3-layer architecture.
1. A rich client written in Java serves as the client, i.e. the user interface.
2. The middleware is a JEE application server (Oracle Weblogic) made up of the following three applications:
• DeltaXE Server that covers the business logic proper,
• BPM Server that handles the processes supported by DeltaXE
• DeltaXE Service Bus that is in charge of all external communications (in / out)
3. The database stores the data and provides functionalities for processing high data volumes with a high performance

The DeltaXE architecture is based on the strict separation of the different technical aspects of DeltaXE. As a result, processes and communications can be changed mainly independent of the Java implementation. Workflows can be modified by consultants or the customer. Account of this approach, DeltaXE offers significantly higher flexibility and substantially shorter response times for implementing customer requests.
